WE WANT YOU TO BE OUR PHOTOGRAPHER. WHAT’S THE NEXT STEP?

I am so excited you love my work THAT much! (insert fist pump here 😉 ) To secure your date on my calendar you’ll need to place a $500 deposit for the wedding package you have chosen, sign my wedding contract and the date is yours! For portrait sessions there is a $100 deposit.


DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS?

Um……HECK YA! I love to travel for weddings! I do not always charge a travel fee, it just depends on where and when. Having a destination wedding? No worries, I have a passport!


CAN WE MEET YOU BEFORE BOOKING?

Absolutely! It’s important that you feel comfortable and connected with your photographer, you will spend more time on your wedding day with your photographer than anyone else!  I enjoy meeting couples in person, it allows us to get to know each other, talk about your wedding and show you my beautiful albums, especially over coffee or cake, or both!

 


IS THERE A DEPOSIT AND WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

I do collect a deposit for all weddings and portrait sessions, for weddings the deposit is $500.00 with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to your wedding (or you can make payments periodically), this is a non-refundable deposit since I have saved your date for you and have turned other couples away. Portrait sessions are typically a $100.00 deposit and the remainder is due at your session. I accept good old fashion checks, as well as credit or debit card payment.


HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER?

I have been in the photography business since 2006 when my husband and I started a beach wedding business in Destin, Florida. We still own that company as well as this one, I know, we stay busy and love every minute of it!


ARE YOU LICENSED AND INSURED?

Yes! I am licensed and have a one million dollar liability insurance policy for my protection and yours.

 


DO WE NEED A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?

Not necessarily, I love working by myself, but there are occasions that a second photographer is helpful, such as:

-You want coverage of the groom getting ready at a separate geographical location than the bride.

-Cocktail hour coverage (I will be photographing group & couple portraits).

-Additional angles and moments during your ceremony (especially helpful in a church or indoor wedding for getting a shot of the groom’s  reaction to the bride walking down the aisle.)

I will still be your lead photographer and typically my second photographer is my husband Ray, I do have other second photographers that work with me when he is on another assignment.


HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL I RECEIVE?

Portrait sessions: Approximately 100-200 photos

Weddings: Approximately 100-150 photos, per hour of photography coverage


DO YOU EDIT MY PHOTOS?

Yes, I do edit all of your photos, I adjust exposure, color and minor imperfections. I do not over edit photos, I strive to keep your images true to your day, if you’re looking for a fake sky or something crazy in photo shop, I am not your girl, but I can assure you your photos will be beautiful. 🙂
